FAQs
-
A bookkeeper is an accounting professional that manages all detailed transactions, trends, reporting, financial data, and organization to ensure that all documents provide the most true and accurate view of your financial health.
An accountant is known as someone who may also manage detailed transactions and financial data, however, an accountant may delve deeper into analytics, statistical insights, and assessing strategies related to business growth.
There are many types of accountants, yet, some of the most known accountants may hold a licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) which allows them to file taxes on behalf of a person or business.
Think of the relationship between a nurse and a doctor --- a nurse is responsible for gathering and organizing data while the doctor makes decisions and prescriptions based on that data. Sure, the nurse can probably do the same thing as a doctor and vice versa, however, there is a big difference in licensure and liability.
-
While many bookkeeping firms solely offer data management, Galatians Bookkeeping also includes reporting and strategy implementation that helps clients to effectively use their data to assess the best next step.
-
A tithe is one-tenth or ten percent (10%) of a given amount whether money, livestock, or general possessions.
Tithes are often mentioned in the Bible as a command to give one-tenth of all earnings to the ‘storehouse’ which can also be referred to as the Church.
At Galatians Bookkeeping, we believe that giving a tithe of all gross earnings is proper and true as commanded by God.
-
Though it is strongly encouraged (with love), we at Galatians Bookkeeping do not force our clients to tithe or give funds to any particular organization. Should a client choose not to tithe, we respect their decision. We would, however, encourage all to consider the benefits versus consequences found in Malachi 3:8.
One of the concepts mentioned in this passage of Scripture is that by ignoring the command to tithe, your money is automatically cursed (Malachi 3:9).

As a finance team, we have found it more beneficial and budget-friendly to provide our clients with the full scope of finance management rather than ‘piece-mealing’ their financial team which can result in additional cost, time, and burden.
The average cost of a bookkeeper, CFO, Tax Planner, and Wealth Manager combined may well exceed $5,000 per month. A CFO alone will usually price their invoices to be commensurate with a $200K annual salary which would be $16,000 per month for you.
On average, our service price at Galatians Bookkeeping makes up less than 3% of overall income for a given client.
In addition, one may consider the efficiency and cost burden for recruiting and onboarding each individual role named above while giving time buffers to become familiar with your business, financial trends, nuanced business operation, and overall work style.
We’re excited that we can serve you with all four services to save you the time and burden of recruiting and provide these solutions for a fraction of the cost – all while continuing to strategize and activate every growth opportunity available for ultimate growth in your business.
-
We respect your decision and understand that we may not be fit to serve everyone in particular seasons. However, please consider the financial cycle of your business over the last 6 months compared to the spending habits that may have accompanied those dollars.
As a practical example, we can understand how easy it is to spend over $400 of unbudgeted funds within one week. Should this habitual spending continue within a year's time, one may find that nearly $20,000 have been spent without proper accounting for how those dollars directly impacted the growth of the business. This is why we want to help.
Our team at Galatians Bookkeeping is honored to delve into the detailed financial organization and analytic reporting for your business. As we work, our efforts are concentrated on faithful stewardship and strategic growth insights that often require much analysis, internal conversation, research, synthesis of information, preparation for delivery, presentation, and feedback implementation.
Lastly, the tiered pricing structure is designed to help you in any stage of your business. This is all in an effort to prevent you from paying a $16,000 invoice when your business is making $18,000 in a month.

We do not file taxes on behalf of our clients. However, as the bookkeeping team, we are responsible for ensuring that all reports, transactions, and documents are organized and accurate for our tax preparer and CPA partners to file on your behalf.
-
Our prices are tiered and based on the annual gross revenue (before expenses) of our clients’ business. Prices start at $1500 per month.
-
We typically review service price on an annual basis, however, if the increase or decrease of revenue is drastic (>$200K), we may need to adjust service price accordingly at a sooner rate.
-
At this time, we only offer discounts to non-profit organizations.
We humbly recommend all new clients consider the value of having clarity on your finances, getting your time back to do the work you love, and finally getting relief that your accounting is being handled correctly.
Additionally, we would humbly ask clients to consider an analogy : Would it be appropriate to ask a surgeon to lower the cost of their services for any reason? Due to the skill of the surgeon and valuable nature of what is at stake, it is not possible to lower price point without the potential of encountering greater risk.
In the same way, we do not offer discounts nor do we lower our price as the skill required to complete all tasks does not change based on price nor does the risk.
-
No. We respect the privacy, confidentiality, and time of our clients. Due to the high volume of prospects that we encounter, we do not deem it appropriate to have new prospects calling our clients on a weekly or monthly basis.

You may also visit our YouTube page or Podcast where we have posted several hours of content for consideration and review.

The number of clients that we service changes on a rolling basis. However, within the last two years, we have managed over $10M in revenue and several of our clients have operated independently as multi-million dollar businesses.
We are committed to ensuring that you receive the best service possible. In terms of bandwidth, the systems and operations that we have implemented (all glory to God) allow us to manage a larger-than-normal volume given the insights within the accounting landscape and custom formulas that have been developed for our clients.

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. - Revelation 21:8
